His successful infiltration eventually allows him to rise through the ranks and take control of the company. On the eve of the final operation, a mole within law enforcement exposes Yan Mingyu's identity. In a desperate attempt to save his son, Mai Zhongwei sacrifices his life but is murdered by Zhang Junsheng. Framed as a criminal and placed on the wanted list, Yan Mingyu watches his teammates suffer devastating injuries. Forced into hiding, Yan Mingyu pretends to defect to the influential official Zhang Zhiyuan while secretly securing control of 1.5 billion yuan in criminal proceeds and the evidence linked to them through cryptocurrency transactions. In the end, through coordinated efforts from both inside and outside the criminal organization, the entire syndicate is brought to justice. Long-buried murder cases are finally solved, Yan Mingyu clears his name, and he ultimately returns to the police force.
