A restaurant chain with branches in Tokyo and New York is in the pipeline. As he rushes from appointment to appointment in his convertible, he overlooks Frieda, a cyclist, who crashes into a ditch. The prudent farmer's wife is fuming with rage - not only because she has broken her ankle, leaving her with a lot of work to do on the farm, but also because the driver simply speeds off.
