The woman is the daughter of a wealthy family and falls head over heels in love with the man she is introduced to. The fraud group then smoothly manipulates the woman and appears to have made a large sum of money, but in fact it is the fraud group that has had their money stolen from them. The woman who stole the money is the genius con artist Ryoko.
