The Emperor's Gift

In 1841 according to the will of his father Minh Mạng, Crown Prince Miên Tông ascends the throne and becomes the third emperor of Nguyễn Dynasty, Thiệu Trị. Soon, tensions arise between the Emperor's concubines as they struggle for power and authority in the palace.
